Funded Proposals: Example With NumbersTo better understand the concept of “funded proposals”, here’s a simple example in numbers of how this works. Suppose you invest for example $200 into AdWords to advertise some quality info product that sells for $29. Let’s suppose you pay $0.8 on average per click. So, for your $200 investment and $0.8 per click, you get around 250 high quality visitors to your lead capture page. If your lead capture page converts at 20% (Visitor to Lead Conversion Rate), this means that out of those 250 visitors, 50 of them opt-in and become your excusive lead. (250 x 0.2 = 50) So, you generate 50 exclusive leads for your business which you can now follow-up with autoresponders, where you:
Now let’s also suppose that your follow-up system converts at 20% (Lead to Buyer Conversion Rate), which means that out of your new 50 leads, 10 of them (50 x 0.2 = 10) buy your $29 info product – you gross $290. Can you see the end result of your $200 investment and where is this leading to? You eliminated your advertising costs. You not only returned your initial $200 investment for buying ads in the first place, you even grossed some extra $90.
